The Russian national under-16 football team secured a commanding victory over their Kazakh counterparts in a UEFA Development Tournament held in Shymkent, Kazakhstan. The match ended with a score of 6-1 in favor of the Russian squad.
Kazakhstan’s only goal was scored by Anuar Tolendi in the 11th minute. For Russia, Alexander Koledov (11th minute) and Dmitry Kalinin (28th minute) found the net, while Klim Denisov (27th, 39th) and Matvey Tolmachev (72nd, 86th) each recorded a brace.
The Russian boys, born in 2010, have enjoyed a perfect run in the tournament, winning all three of their scheduled matches. On April 25, they defeated Azerbaijan 5-0, and two days later, they beat their peers from Pakistan 2-1.
