Orix Reveals 2026 Olimen Main Visual with ‘Natural’ Theme, Showing Players as They Truly Are

Orix announced on the 11th the main visual for the “Bs Orihime Day 2026” event, featuring this season’s Olimen. The theme is “natural,” highlighting each player’s authentic self. Voting for the Olimen will take place from February 6 to 14, with results announced on March 24. Infielder Daisuke Hirooka (28) secured consecutive wins in the voting, while 11 players made the top 10 alongside the unveiling of the “Next Olimen” who missed the top spots. Orihime Day will be held across six games at Kyocera Dome Osaka: July 18-20 against Nippon-Ham and July 24-26 against Lotte.

The Olimen appeared in a style completely different from what fans see on the field. Leaving behind their mud- and sweat-covered fighting looks, they donned a simple uniform ensemble of white shirts, white pants, and white sneakers. Shunichi Goto (53), Director of Publicity and Advertising and head of the Advertising Group, explained the intention behind this year’s concept.

“We set the theme as ‘natural.’ In the past, we emphasized elements like idols or glasses, but this time we focused on their existence itself—their true, unadorned appearance,” Goto said.

The Olimen voting has been fan-driven since 2019, expanding a project originally led by female staff volunteers. Two-time winner Hirooka is currently sidelined with lower body conditioning issues. Second-place finisher, infielder Keita Nakagawa (30), shared the behind-the-scenes story of this shoot. “It was an unusual all-white outfit that I don’t usually wear, so I was a bit worried about whether it would suit me, but it was a new challenge. This Orihime Day has a different flavor from previous ones, and personally, I love this concept,” Nakagawa said, welcoming the styling that reveals their natural expressions.

The visuals will be progressively released on the team’s official social media channels. Additionally, during Orihime Day, a photo spot featuring the top 10 Olimen’s visuals will be set up on the entire wall of Kyocera Dome Osaka’s east entrance. Around the dome, banners and flag banners of each player will be displayed. During games, special Orihime Day-only videos will be shown on the big screen. Various goods and gourmet items are also being planned. Purchase of certain gourmet foods will include a “Buffaloes Trading Card” featuring Olimen players. Fans are invited to enjoy the natural atmosphere the players exude.
